Our story: built on real experience, not a corporate boardroom

TME Support Services started because our founder Callum Logan grew up seeing exactly what great support looks like, and what happens when it’s missing. With a brother on the autism spectrum and a close family friend with Down syndrome, navigating the daily realities, frustrations and victories of disability support has always been a personal journey before it was ever a professional one.

After years of working within the youth sector and managing complex behaviour needs, Callum saw a massive gap: families were exhausted, and participants were losing stability. Choosing to bring things back to basics, he founded TME Support Services to combine professional, high-behaviour expertise with the genuine understanding that only comes from lived family experience.

The TME difference: people before profits

If you’ve worked with large corporations before, you already know the story: dozens of rotating staff, inconsistent schedules, and a corporate structure where participants can feel more like line items than human beings. We intentionally choose a different path by keeping our circle small, personal, and heavily focused on stability.

As a registered NDIS provider, we focus entirely on the quality of our relationships rather than the quantity of our clients. We know that consistency is the foundation for progress, especially for young people with complex behaviours where a sudden change in routine can cause severe setbacks. We operate with transparency, genuine care, and a commitment to being there for the long haul.

Our dedication to the local community extends far beyond standard support shifts. Investing heavily in the region means regularly backing local initiatives, from organising toy drives for Ronald McDonald House to providing various donations to Carrie’s Place. Active involvement with the Maitland Junior Football Club creates meaningful, real-world experiences for participants, including opportunities to join team walk-outs and participate in the official match coin toss.

True empowerment comes from building capacity rather than creating dependence.

Our approach to independence

Our support philosophy is grounded in practical, real-world skill acquisition. We don’t believe in over-servicing or creating dependence; if a young person can put their own shoes on or clear their own dishes, we encourage and empower them to do exactly that. We build strong, respectful relationships where boundaries are clear, expectations are high, and every small step toward self-reliance is celebrated.
